Dr Daniel Aquilina participates in Maltese EU Council Presidency event Published on July 27, 2017 Dr Daniel Aquilina, Partner at GANADO Advocates, in his capacity as Chairman of Malta Marittima Agency, has been invited to speak at an event organised as part of the Maltese EU Council Presidency, that drew to an end last month. The conference, entitled ‘Space Solutions for Resilience in the Mediterranean’, was held over two days at ESPLORA between the 27th and 28th of June. Dr Aquilina participated in a discussion about the blue growth areas within the maritime sector, focusing specifically on the shift towards a Western Mediterranean strategy and the importance of synergies between Mediterranean countries towards a blue economy. This session was chaired by Mr Staffan Ekwall from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE). Go back
