The Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA) are organising their biennial conference on the 16th of November at the Intercontinental Hotel, St. Julian’s. Expected to bring together hundreds of industry leaders within the finance profession and beyond, this year’s conference will be centred around ‘The Finance Revolution … Unlocking the Digital Riddle’ and will stimulate discussions around Digital Tax, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and Cyber Risk and Blockchain regulations.

As a distinguished thought leader within the Blockchain sphere, Dr Max Ganado, Senior Partner at GANADO Advocates, will join the panel discussion about the regulatory and practical aspects of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). Dr Ganado will provide an overview of the Maltese DLT regulatory framework and will later join the discussion about the VFA Agent Registration Process and the shift from Financial Instruments to VFAs.
