GANADO Advocates Presents at Malta Stock Exchange Event in London Published on November 6, 2015 GANADO Advocates recently participated in a promotional event for Malta’s Capital Markets, organised by the Malta Stock Exchange at the Malta High Commission in London on November 4th 2015. The event, supported by FinanceMalta, GANADO Advocates and Corinthia plc, was designed to provide attendees from the UK investment advisory community with a better understanding of Malta as a financial services jurisdiction. Information was also provided on the various Maltese Capital Markets opportunities available, including key information about prospects, the Malta Stock Exchange’s SME-oriented market that is expected to launch during Q1 2016, the European Wholesale Securities Market (a specialist wholesale debt securities market designed primarily for the listing of ABS) and the benefits of using Maltese securitisation vehicles. Dr Nicholas Curmi, from GANADO Advocates’ Capital Markets team, contributed to the discussion with a presentation on the Maltese legal and regulatory infrastructure for Capital Markets. Go back
